Bella Hadid Wears Preluvd at Cannes Film Festival

Bella Hadid Wears Preluvd at Cannes Film Festival

Earlier this year, Preluvd released its Euro Summer edit — a tightly curated drop of vintage and one-off pieces styled with a focus on effortless, coastal-inspired dressing.

The collection was shared on Instagram, and this campaign was our biggest to date. We were already incredibly proud of the outcome and the reach it was achieving on its own, especially so early in the brand’s journey.

Within that drop, one standout vintage top began gaining unexpected attention. The piece started circulating across fashion pages and styling accounts shortly after being posted.

Not long after, we were contacted by Mimi Cuttrell, Bella Hadid’s stylist, regarding the top.

The piece was purchased through Preluvd for Bella, with no details shared at the time about when or where it would be worn.

Cannes Film Festival

On the morning of the Cannes Film Festival, I woke up at 5am to a DM from Mimi saying that Bella had worn the top.

A few moments later, I opened Instagram and my feed was flooded with images of Bella wearing it, captured by paparazzi and fashion accounts throughout Cannes.

Seeing something that was already part of a campaign we were so proud of appear in that context took it to another level entirely.

About Preluvd

Preluvd was founded by Michaela Salvo less than five months ago as a curated vintage resale platform focused on rare, elevated, and timeless pieces.

Each drop is built around a small selection of hand-picked vintage garments, chosen for their uniqueness, quality, and relevance within a modern wardrobe.

This moment has been incredibly meaningful so early in the brand’s journey, and it’s been special to see Preluvd pieces being worn on such a global stage.

Looking ahead

Preluvd remains focused on what it started as — sourcing and curating vintage pieces with intention, and building a brand rooted in individuality and storytelling through clothing.

We’re excited to continue growing the archive and sharing upcoming drops.
